It is not a book to skim through, I read through some chapters a few times, gaining new perspective as I examined the author's words more closely. It is great for anyone interested in religion and who is curious about how it relates to society. I know I learned so much as the author quoted biblical scripture that illustrated today's events and beliefs. Her examples were often chilling as they so clearly represent things in the Bible. This book titled "The 3rd Message" by Elia De La Porte is about a man deeply in touch with his faith. On frequent occasions he experiences visions that are related to scriptures in the bible. He feels that these visions are messages sent to him by God warning him of world events that will take place in the future, for example The demise of Saddam Hussein the weapons of Mass destruction was one of the events mentioned and many more. He feels these visions support a purpose and reason as to why and when these events happen. The stories give you an eerie feeling as you read about them and find out what actually happened. I found this book to be very interesting but deep on a personnel level for this person. The author Elia De La Porte has done a great job.

I am not a very religious person, but that being said, I do enjoy reading books on the subject. I particularly like to read how individual authors use the scripture to explain events occurring in the world today. There are many books written on the subjec as of late, some more convincing than others. I think that Elia De La Porte does an excellent job of presenting her findings and supporting statements in "The 3rd Message".
I would recommend this book for everyone. For those who believe, you will find answers to some unanswered questions about the state of the world. For those who don't believe, it is a well presented book and will make you think. For those on the fence, it may help guide you to a decision.
Sharing your views and visions on your own personal beliefs and on your spirituality is always deeeply touching and personal and in The 3rd Message, the author does exactly this.
Describing, in quotes, views and emotions that are not your everyday type of thoughts, this book challenges you to look into yourself and into what you believe and what you think you believe in. The fact that the author appears to share these thoughts with someone else - who feels and thinks exactly the same things kind of gave me goosebumps as I always sort of believed that each thought and emotion that I had - was unique to only me.
This book will challenge you and, in many instances, you will find yourself questioning your true self.

Would you be able to put an event to every scripture in the bible? Do you believe things happen for a reason if they don't happen when they are suppose too? This author, Elia DeLa Porte did in "The 3rd Message". When he had visions he knew something would happen and when it did it was due to the scripture he had connected with at a certain time in place. It all had meaning and purpose to him.
Anytime you bring in region and spirituality from a person, you are not able to deny what was thought of or their opinions when he writes something down. You can think back on what was written to see if you would have made the same connection. The author believes strongly in his faith and that is apparent. His writing is thought provoking even though sometime his reading isn't too clear. It was a good book to read. You may need to reread some parts to get its full meaning but it's nice to get someone else's perspective so go back and understand his view.
This book titled "The 3rd Message" is a series of quotes and scriptures that have tied back to memories and events for this author Elia DeLa Porte. It is a very thought provoking book and after reading this I for one am glad this person was able to identify with the spirituality as personally as they have and have been able to feel and believe so strongly the attachments it brings.

The clarity of the visions is intriguing and the fact that the sister shares the same at times brought goose bumps to me. It was nice to see this person could truly relate to someone close enough that would understand. Interesting book, not a light subject and this one will take some time to read...it makes you think.
